
St. Peter School recently celebrated two pivotal milestones in its educational journey, highlighting its commitment to advancing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning. The event marked the third anniversary of the Wilhelm Johnson Scholz STEM Lab and the fourth year of STEM education being formally integrated into the school’s curriculum.
The Wilhelm Johnson Scholz STEM Lab, named in honor of a notable supporter and advocate for educational innovation, has been a cornerstone in enhancing students’ hands-on learning experiences. Since its inauguration three years ago, the lab has provided students with access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources, allowing them to engage in practical applications of STEM concepts, such as robotics, coding, and scientific experimentation.
Over the past four years, the STEM program at St. Peter School has sought to encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among students from early grades onward.
