Martin Fisher from Science Central joined WANE 15 in studio to share a practical science tip: how to tell if an egg is raw or cooked. During the demonstration, Fisher explained that the key lies in observing how the egg spins. A cooked egg will spin smoothly and steadily, while a raw egg will wobble due to the liquid inside moving independently of the shell.

This easy method requires no special equipment and offers a fun, educational way to apply basic principles of physics to everyday life. Fisher’s visit aimed to encourage curiosity and hands-on learning, especially following Easter celebrations when many families have an abundance of eggs on hand.
