Research Solutions Terminates Chief Operating Officer Scott Ahlberg

Research Solutions, a provider of cloud-based workflow solutions for R&D-driven organizations, has announced the termination of its Chief Operating Officer, Scott Ahlberg. The company did not publicly disclose specific reasons behind the decision.

The move marks a significant leadership change within the organization. Ahlberg, who had held the COO post since 2015, played a key role in streamlining the company’s operations and contributing to its digital platform’s growth and international expansion.

In a brief statement, the company emphasized its commitment to continuing its operational improvements and innovative product development strategy. The leadership transition is expected to support the company’s long-term objectives and align with its strategic goals.

Research Solutions has not yet announced a successor to the COO role or whether the position will be filled in the near future. The company reassured stakeholders that daily operations will proceed as usual during the transition period.

The changes come amid a broader effort by the organization to enhance its service offerings in the scientific and technical research sectors, particularly through its Article Galaxy platform, which enables organizations to streamline access to and usage of scientific literature.

Further details may be shared during the company’s next investor update or earnings call.
