Mirova Launches New Nature-Based Carbon Funds Amid Growing Interest in ESG Investing

Mirova, a leading sustainable asset management firm, has unveiled three new nature-based carbon investment funds, underscoring the enduring appeal of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies among global investors.

Gautier Quéru, managing director of natural capital at Mirova, discussed the initiative and the broader outlook for sustainable investing. According to Quéru, despite increasing challenges such as regulatory uncertainties and market volatility, investor appetite for ESG-focused and sustainable investment solutions remains strong.

The newly launched funds aim to deliver measurable environmental impact by supporting projects focused on nature conservation, reforestation, and biodiversity protection. These initiatives are aligned with carbon credit markets and are designed to offer both competitive financial returns and tangible ecological benefits.

Quéru emphasized that aligning financial innovation with climate solutions is critical to combating the ecological crisis while offering investors meaningful opportunities to support global sustainability goals.

As ESG frameworks continue to shape institutional investment strategies, Mirova’s latest offerings reflect a growing demand for financial instruments that promote long-term environmental stewardship and responsible capital deployment.
