Harvard’s LabXchange Partners with IISc to Empower 8,000 Indian Science Educators

LabXchange, a digital science education platform developed by Harvard University’s Vice Provost for Advances in Learning, has announced a strategic collaboration with the Talent Development Centre (TDC) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The partnership aims to support and empower 8,000 science educators across India through access to high-quality, interactive learning resources.

The initiative is designed to enhance science teaching capabilities, particularly in under-resourced regions, by integrating LabXchange’s open educational content and tools into TDC’s professional development programs. These resources include virtual lab simulations, customizable lessons, and assessments aligned with international education standards.

The collaboration underscores a mutual commitment to improving science literacy and educational equity. TDC will oversee the implementation of the program, offering training and support to educators to ensure effective use of the LabXchange platform in classroom environments.

By leveraging digital tools, the initiative seeks to foster a more engaging and inclusive science education experience, ultimately benefiting students and contributing to the development of a more robust scientific community in India.
