The Environmental Science Center (ESC) is calling for volunteers to join its new team of beach naturalists at Seahurst Park this summer. This initiative invites individuals who enjoy exploring the beach during low tides and have a passion for science and environmental education.

Beach naturalists will be present during select low tides to engage park visitors, answer questions about the beach ecosystem, and help people explore the unique habitat safely. The program aims to inspire a lifelong appreciation for Puget Sound and promote environmental stewardship within the community.

Organizers emphasize that volunteers will play a crucial role in helping to educate the public about the delicate marine environment, encouraging respectful interaction with marine life, and raising awareness about conservation efforts.

Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to connect with the ESC to learn more about the program and how to get involved.
