Students from West Chester University (WCU) have taken top honors at the Wistar Institute’s Shark Tank-style competition, earning recognition for pioneering biotech pitches developed through the university’s Life Science Innovation course.

The competition challenged participants to present innovative solutions in biotechnology before a panel of experts, mimicking the high-pressure format of the popular television show ‘Shark Tank.’ WCU students impressed judges with their groundbreaking ideas, standing out among several competing teams from across the region.
