The Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Health-ISAC) through its Hacking Healthcare® platform has provided detailed analysis on a new joint alert issued by various U.S. government agencies. The alert warns that Iranian-backed cyber actors are actively targeting vulnerable U.S. infrastructure and other entities of strategic interest, potentially as a result of escalating international tensions.
In its breakdown, Health-ISAC explains the key elements of the alert, which was disseminated jointly by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the National Security Agency (NSA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
