More than 50 art exhibitions across Southern California are drawing attention to the vital relationship between art and science through a wide-reaching collaborative event. Among the participating venues is UCLA, which hosted several displays and experiences designed to engage the public in meaningful discussions about pressing global concerns.

The exhibitions explore a variety of themes including climate change, biodiversity, public health, and technological innovation. By bringing together artists, scientists, and the broader community, the event aims to inspire creative solutions and raise awareness through the emotive and conceptual power of art.

At UCLA, key installations and public programming brought academic expertise and artistic expression into conversation. These collaborative works underscore how visual storytelling and empirical research can collectively inform and influence critical discourse on environmental and social issues.

Organizers of the event believe this multidisciplinary approach can prompt public engagement and foster a deeper understanding of science by tapping into the accessibility and emotional resonance of art. The large-scale initiative reinforces Southern California’s role as a hub for innovation and cultural dialogue at the intersection of diverse disciplines.
