David Murphy, President of Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU), has been appointed as the new Chair of the Healthcare Credit Union Association (HCUA). The HCUA is a national organization committed to bolstering credit unions that serve healthcare professionals and their families.

Murphy’s appointment reflects both his extensive experience in the credit union sector and his dedication to supporting financial institutions that cater to healthcare communities. Under Murphy’s leadership, MMCCU has deepened its focus on providing tailored services and financial solutions to healthcare employees, a commitment that aligns with the mission of the HCUA. His new role is expected to further that mission on a broader, national scale, bringing deeper insight into the evolving financial needs of healthcare professionals.

Murphy expressed enthusiasm about his appointment and the opportunity to help drive positive change within the industry. “It’s an honor to serve as Chair of the HCUA. I look forward to working closely with our member institutions to share knowledge, enhance service, and strengthen the financial well-being of healthcare workers and their families,” he said.
