Congress leader and national social media in-charge Supriya Shrinate has raised concerns about the state of education and healthcare under the governance of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Speaking publicly, Shrinate claimed that the ruling AAP government has failed to ensure adequate staffing in critical sectors such as education and health.
According to Shrinate, schools operating under AAP’s administration are grappling with a shortage of qualified teachers, negatively impacting the quality of education provided to students. She also alleged that public hospitals are facing staffing issues, with an insufficient number of doctors to meet the healthcare needs of citizens.
These statements add to a growing political discourse surrounding the effectiveness of the AAP government’s policies, particularly in sectors it has frequently highlighted as successful. While AAP has touted its investments in schools and hospitals as key achievements, opposition leaders like Shrinate argue that the ground realities paint a different picture.
The Aam Aadmi Party has yet to respond to Shrinate’s claims. Meanwhile, the Congress party appears poised to continue challenging AAP’s governance record in key areas, especially as both parties vie for public support in future elections.
The debate reflects broader political contestation in urban governance and the prioritization of public services in India’s major metropolitan areas.
