Case Western Reserve University Offers AI Workshop Series for Educators

The University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) at Case Western Reserve University has announced its latest educational initiative: the AI in Teaching & Learning Workshop Series. Designed specifically for faculty members who already possess a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, this workshop series aims to enhance AI literacy and practical application among university educators.

These 90-minute hybrid sessions are intended to be hands-on and interactive, offering instructors the opportunity to explore AI’s role in course development, student engagement, and feedback mechanisms. Rather than focusing on introductory material, the workshops will help participants directly implement AI techniques and platforms into their current teaching methods.

Each session will equip attendees with ready-to-use strategies that can be applied immediately within their classrooms. Topics are expected to include AI-assisted course design, personalized feedback generation using AI tools, and methods to foster interactive learning environments leveraging machine learning algorithms and natural language processing.

By integrating AI into instructional strategies, the UCITE is fostering a forward-thinking academic culture that recognizes the transformative potential of technology in higher education. The series is a part of a broader effort by the university to prepare its faculty for the evolving educational landscape shaped by technological innovation.

Interested faculty are encouraged to visit the UCITE website for additional information, session schedules, and registration details.
