In an effort to meet the growing demand for professionals skilled in artificial intelligence technologies, Angelo State University (ASU) has announced the launch of two new online degree programs focused on Artificial Intelligence. The programs will be available starting in the fall semester and are designed to provide students with practical and theoretical knowledge in AI applications across multiple industries.

According to university officials, the new offerings include both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence. These fully online programs allow students the flexibility to pursue higher education remotely while preparing them for careers in areas such as machine learning, data science, automation, and AI-driven decision making.

The initiative reflects Angelo State University’s commitment to staying current with technological trends and equipping students with skills relevant to the modern workforce. By providing accessible and specialized education in artificial intelligence, ASU aims to contribute to closing the digital skills gap and addressing the increasing need for AI expertise in both the public and private sectors.

Prospective students can apply for the new degree programs through the university’s admissions portal, with classes scheduled to begin in the fall. Faculty from the Department of Computer Science and related disciplines will lead the instruction, incorporating hands-on projects and real-world AI applications.

The introduction of these AI degree programs puts Angelo State University among a growing list of institutions nationwide that are incorporating artificial intelligence into their curriculum to prepare graduates for the rapidly evolving tech-based economy.
